What people are saying

Hear from recreation and camp professionals who are already putting strategies found in this class into practice.

This course is fantastic! It starts with the foundation of what inclusivity is and works up through the levels of understanding with anecdotes, vocabulary, useful handouts and knowledge checks. The worksheets and handouts are clean, professional and easy to understand. Many times when I take a training I find they are repetitive or so basic they don't meet my needs. This training provides not only the problem and solution, but all the steps in between, so there no question of how to implement inclusivity in daily camp life or programming. The tips and tools outlined and shown are excellent and gives the person taking this course a great place to start. This gives me much more confidence going into summer camp this season!

This training was incredibly valuable. With a strong background in disability support, both professionally and personally, and being newer to the parks and recreation field, I have been focused on leading my team in a way that genuinely supports inclusion. The content and resources reinforced that we are on the right track while also providing clear, practical strategies to strengthen our approach. I especially appreciated how actionable and grounded the content was. It made the work feel both achievable and impactful.

You have done a remarkable job in creating this class. I love the downloads, the pace, the graphics, the videos. I especially love the way you come across on the videos: voice, tone, facial expression, etc. are poised, professional and joyful. Basically, you have hit this one out of the park! Keep up the great work!
